· Tutor:A registered user who offers tutoring services through the Website.
· Student:A user who seeks or utilizes tutoring services through the Website.
· Regular Tuitions:Standard tuitions, typically for local students or those who can freely speak the native language, subject to standard commission terms.
· Premium Tuitions:These are high-value tuitions typically for international students. These tuitions are usually presented in collaboration with our international partners and often come with specific requirements. Academy provides additional support and coordination for these tuitions. These tuitions are subject to a tiered commission structure.
1.2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Website.
2. Terms of Use for Students
2.1. All information provided by students must be accurate and complete.
2.2. Students must conduct themselves respectfully towards tutors and other users.
2.3. Students are responsible for timely payment of tuition fees as agreed upon with the tutor.
2.4. Students are entitled to one free demo session with a tutor.
2.5. The fee will be collected by eTutors Academy in advance. The tutor's fee will be given upon successful completion of three weeks of tuition
3. Terms of Use for Tutors
3.1. Accurate Information: Tutors must provide accurate and complete information when registering and using the Website.
3.2. Document Verification: Tutors must produce necessary documents to certify academic qualifications and eligibility status upon request.
3.3. Single Account: Each tutor may only have one account on the Website.
3.4. Respectful Conduct: Tutors must conduct themselves respectfully towards students and other users.
3.5. Demo Session: Tutors are required to provide a one-day demo session to students.
3.6. Service Charges for Regular Tuitions:eTutors Academy will charge 50% of the first month's fee as service charges from the tutor. The first month's fee will be collected by eTutors Academy, and the tutor's fee will be given upon successful completion of three weeks of tuition.
3.7. Service Charges for Premium Tuitions: eTutors Academy will charge a tiered commission structure:
3.7.1. The Academy will collect 40% of the first month's fee, and 20% of the fee for subsequent months as service charges.
3.7.2. The fee will be collected by eTutors Academy, and the tutor's fee will be given upon successful completion of three weeks of tuition.
3.8. Withdrawal: No fee will be given to the tutor if they withdraw from tuition before three weeks. The tutor will be responsible for any withdrawal.
3.9. Cheating and Fraud: In case of any cheating, eTutors Academy reserves the right to cancel the tutor's registration.
3.10. Changes in Terms:eTutors Academy reserves the right to change the terms of agreement anytime, without any prior notice.
4. Tutor Registration and Subscription Charges
4.1. Free Registration:Tutors can register at eTutors Academy free of charge for the first year. This initial period allows tutors to become familiar with our platform and establish their presence without any financial commitment.
4.2. Subscription Fee:Starting from the second year of registration, tutors will be required to pay a minimal subscription fee of $2 per year to stay active and appear in our search results.
4.3.Payment Schedule:The subscription fee will be charged annually. Tutors will receive a notification and reminder to pay the subscription fee before the end of their first year.
4.4.Consequences of Non-Payment:Tutors who fail to pay the subscription fee will have their profiles deactivated. Deactivated profiles will not appear in search results, and these tutors will not be considered for new tuitions until the subscription fee is paid.
4.5.Active Participation:The subscription fee ensures that only dedicated and serious tutors remain active on our platform, thereby enhancing the quality of our tutoring services.
4.6.Communication:Tutors are expected to respond promptly to emails and messages from eTutors Academy and students. This ensures effective coordination and maximizes tutoring opportunities.
4.7.Inactivity:Tutors who do not respond to communication or are unavailable for teaching for an extended period will be subject to profile review. Repeated non-responsiveness may result in profile deactivation.

7. Use of the Website
As long as you comply with these Terms of Use, eTutors Academy grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited privilege to enter and use the Website. The enrolling student, tutors, and where applicable their parents or legal guardians must ensure that they fully understand the terms of the Contract.
