Experience Details

I have one and a half years of experience teaching the English language, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics in physical classrooms. During this time, I have worked with students in both one-on-one and group settings. Throughout my teaching experience, I have noticed some basic issues faced by English learners in my locality. One prevalent issue I've encountered is what I refer to as 'English phobia.' Many learners struggle with fear and hesitation when speaking English, often due to a tendency to think in their native language and then translate it into English. This tendency can hinder fluency and confidence in speaking. Similarly, the traditional approach of the tutors, as I noticed, 'teaching grammar for the sake of grammar' has proved costly for the students due to ambiguity regarding what is actually required and what is depicted by the grammar teachers. Additionally, I've noticed that learners often attempt to mimic native English accents before fully grasping the language's fundamentals. This premature focus on tone can further complicate the learning process and hinder comprehension. In response to these challenges, I have developed effective strategies to address each of these issues, which were quite effective. As far as sciences are concerned like Physics and Chemistry, I have observed that students usually think that these subjects and their concepts are beyond their intellectual grasp. In effect, they resort to rote memorization, thereby hindering all their creative propensities. To tackle this, I tried to make the complex ideas of the subjects very simple and clear, which was proved beneficial in neutralizing their prevalent approach towards these subjects. Lastly, Mathematics was not too difficult task for me to make my students understand its peculiarities.

About Myself

I am civil engineer with a strong passion for teaching, driven by my inherent pleasure of making complex and dubious ideas simple and easy. Making lessons simple for my students gives me a feeling of satisfaction. Apart from this, I love reading English literature which, in fact, occupies a significant portion of my time. I am also preparing for CSS competitive exam; therefore, online tutoring suits me best to align with my inherent passion of teaching while pursuing my preparation. I will be available here from morning to night as I have left my all previous engagements.
